Oshin Ayokunlemi is an innovative food scientist whose research in palm wine led to extending its shelf life to 12 months. Alarmed by widespread adulteration, she spent three years mastering palm wine tapping to ensure quality control.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, her discovery of palm wine’s immune-boosting and probiotic properties led to the launch of Raypine Palm Drinks in 2021. By 2023, she introduced a zero-alcohol probiotic version with antioxidant benefits, showing promise in supporting cancer patients during chemotherapy.
